Important SNE Information

Student Poster Winner Announced!

On behalf of SNE and the student involvement subcommittee, we would like to congratulate Jessica Petruszak on winning the student flyer competition. With input from the SNE membership committee as well as students from different universities, Jessica's flyer was chosen out of several entries as best representing the benefits of student membership in SNE. Not only is it creative and attractive, but it is informative and relates well to other students. Her prize for winning this competition was the choice between one free year's membership to SNE or free registration to the SNE annual conference in Atlanta, GA in July. Jessica chose the one year membership to SNE.  She is a student at Eastern Illinois University.

We would also like to recognize the other two finalists: Lily Knowlton of the University of Massachusetts and Victoria Wallen of Colorado State University.

SNE's Student Involvement subcommittee asked students to come up with a flyer used to recruit students using the benefits of SNE student membership. The entries could be as creative as they wanted as long as they included the information they were provided with. You may download the flyer below and use it as a recruiting tool to increase student membership.

We are asking for information about the student and a brief essay that we will include in our Division newsletter this year (from those students who receive the free membership). Applications are due by October 8, 2008.
