Call for Abstracts
Now accepting late-breaking abstracts!
The Society for Nutrition Education (SNE) invites you to submit abstracts for presentations at the 2010 Annual Conference in Reno, Nevada, July 24-27. SNE continues to provide high quality educational programming for food and nutrition educators and industry-related professionals. Abstracts are welcome in any area of nutrition education, including those that incorporate the conference theme: Child Nutrition: Action Today for a Healthy Tomorrow.
Please consider highlighting your innovative program or initiative, or interesting research – we welcome a diversity of issues surrounding nutrition education. Instructions and online submissions will be available November 2, 2009. Download the SNE 2010 Abstracts payment form (Right click the link, select Save Target as) or click here to pay online. Submit your completed abstract online by January 17, 2010. A $25 fee will be charged for each abstract submission. Please see below for submission guidelines and types of accepted abstracts.
All abstracts will be peer reviewed and authors will receive written feedback based on a standardized evaluation form. In addition to feedback from nutrition education professionals, all accepted abstracts will be published in a supplemental issue of the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior.
To accommodate research and programs that cannot be concluded in time for the January 17, 2010 deadline, SNE also accepts late-breaking submissions until March 1, 2010. Late-breaking abstracts will undergo peer review just as the standard abstracts. A $50 fee will be charged for late-breaking submissions (submitted January 18 - March 1, 2010).
