SNE Foundation 2008 Silent Auction Be Sure to check out the silent auction in the exhibit hall! Click here for a donation form Back by popular demand, SNE will again be hosting a silent auction at the convention in Atlanta . This will be held during the exhibit sessions so you will be able to periodically update your bids. The proceeds will go to the SNE Foundation so it is for a good cause and may be tax deductible (please check with your financial advisor regarding charitable and/or business expense deductions).   We need donations!  You can donate items even if you aren't attending the conference. Please contribute items with a minimum value of $15 and they do not need to be food or nutrition oriented. Feel free to contact suppliers or associates for donations. Here are some ideas: • Two-hour consultation with fundraising guru, fitness trainer, etc. • B&B and/or weekend on a sailboat, at a beach or lake cottage or mountain house • Photograph by professional photographer • Lunch with DC Senator in the Senate Dining Room • Catering for a romantic dinner for two • Meals at fine restaurants • Dinner for 8 - cooked/served by some one else •  Cooking classes (from CIA or other culinary institute in your area) • Gift certificates for websites/chain stores (so they are not limited by where they live) •  Baseball, basketball, football, theater, concert tickets • Wine Tasting Dinner for 6 at home • Airline reward ticket(s) – if you have more miles than you know what to do with • Gourmet gift basket • Gardening basket • Autographed ball (football, baseball, etc) and other sports regalia • Kitchen equipment • Art, prints, jewelry, quilts, etc. • Cookbooks, both antique or modern • For those in the Atlanta area, if you have contacts with local companies – i.e. Delta Airlines, Coca-Cola, Atlanta Braves, Falcons, American Cancer Society, etc. • Things that travel well such as shawls/other fashion items/travel bags • Something from each state -- that would be 50 items • Something from each division • If you have a celebrity contact (i.e. Paul Newman's daughter (Nell) likes SNE and nutrition) You may get the donations to the auction by either: •  bringing the item to the conference in Atlanta before Noon on Saturday, July 19, 2008. •  shipping the item to Atlanta (contact the SNE office at 317-328-4627 for shipping information).
