To provide structure and leadership for linking Kansas professionals in nutrition and related fields.

•  Stimulate interest in and furnish resources for nutrition issues in Kansas .

•  Communicate, network and provide mutual support among nutrition educators.

•  Provide continuing education and opportunities for professional growth for members and peers.

•  Opportunities to network with professionals and consumers interested in nutrition across the state. Your membership helps the  Kansas Nutrition Council make the annual nutrition conference possible.

KNC offers mini grants to provide Kansas Nutrition Council members representing an organization or group with a source of funding to assist with a nutrition-related educational opportunity.

Scholarships are offered to nutrition or dietetics students enrolled in Kansas colleges and

universities and offered to Kansas residents enrolled in dietary manager programs.

KNC is affiliated with the Society for Nutrition Education.
